- Assess manufacturing operations on current performance opportunities.
- Facilitate and oversight of Assembly Continuous Improvement team.
- Utilize a core-team multi-disciplinary approach in developing the strategy for driving improvement in the existing business.
- Gather and analyze internal and competitive metrics.
- Develop and drive business system policies and processes.
- Monitor existing and new core competency channels for improvement potential.
- Gain consensus and create proposals in driving heat exchanger manufacturing improvement.
- Develop true model lines that are an example of Safety, Quality and Productivity for Daikin group.
- Develop strong problem solving skills within manufacturing to quickly attack and solve manufacturing issues.
- Develop a Cost Reduction management with a constant flow of projects being scoped, staffed and implemented to achieve our productivity goals.

- Develops and implements strategic plans and objectives for the department/sub-function in an effective and
- Understands the business and can put together comprehensive department solutions
- Works with other leaders to establish strategic plans and works towards achieving them
- Provides leadership and direction to managers in their respective division/department
- Sees to department staffing needs (e.g. interviewing, hiring, new hire and ongoing training, annual evaluations, etc.)
- Participates in budget development and monitoring of expenses
- Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Intellectual agility; ability to deal with abstract concepts and complexity comfortably
- Ability to drive actionable plans, technical evaluations, process evaluations, product audits and other documents.
- Navigate as needed to form key partnerships with others to harmonize the Goodman Core competency.
- Prior leadership experience and a track record of driving successful improvement.
- A driven individual that functions creatively and well in a team environment.
- Data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Strong business management skills and process / quality improvement skills
- 10 or more years of process / quality improvement experience
- Bachelor’s in Business, Finance or related field
- MBA preferred
