The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating projects of moderate complexity, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. This role works closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to manage timelines, track progress, resolve minor issues, and ensure effective communication across all phases of the project lifecycle. The Intermediate Project Coordinator is expected to work more independently than an entry-level role and may manage smaller projects or workstreams under supervision.

Position Responsibilities May Include
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and task lists for assigned projects or workstreams.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and documentation for leadership review.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking follow-up actions.
- Monitor project risks and issues, escalating when necessary to project leadership.
- Manage project documentation and ensure version control and accessibility for team members.
- Assist in resource allocation and budget tracking for projects.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate updates, and address questions.
- Support process improvement initiatives and recommend best practices for efficiency.
- Provide guidance to entry-level coordinators or interns, as needed.
- Participate in additional projects/activities to support ongoing business needs
- Works within well-defined instructions
- Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks
- Work is closely supervised
- Working knowledge of construction and / or building codes
- Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Visio, Word and Excel
- Must be able to read blueprints/drawings and recreate and make changes to them in Visio and CAD
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
- Ability to multi-task high volume workload and prioritize as needed
- Self-motivated team player with ability to adjust to constant change
- Management experience in high volume environment
- Capable of managing workload and succeeding in a very fast paced environment
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination or related roles.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
