Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for our Product Manager position at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. The Mgr., Parts and Supplies Product researches and evaluates all current and potential new Parts and Vendors as they relate to the HVAC business. This individual will interact with Vendors, Internal Parts Marketing and the Regional Parts and Supplies Managers to develop short and long-term sales strategies. They will also work with Parts Marketing to evaluate the effectiveness of programs. They will recommend pricing strategies, Inventory management strategies, and negotiate rebate structures. About DTTP
Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands.

Responsibilities
May include:
- Review and evaluate new product and Vendor opportunities across the GBU distribution Network.
- Identify and Develop new market opportunities for existing products currently offered.
- Work directly with different business units it is accessing.
- Work with Regional Parts Managers to develop and execute pricing strategies designed to maximize margin opportunities.
- Assist with the development and management of efficient inventories.
- Coordinate and accumulate competitive market intelligence on competing products and competition.
- Communicate and provide reports to VP of Aftermarket for purposes of evaluation and strategic decision making regarding current and potential new products.
- Meet with and assist in negotiations with current and new suppliers with respect to costs and rebate.
- Coordinate with VP, Regional Parts Managers, and finance to help develop sales forecasts.
- Manage and coordinate activities of other Product Managers.
Nature & Scope:
- Mgr., Product, Parts and Supplies Division will have influence over Regional Parts Managers, Regional Purchasing Managers, VP of Aftermarket as well as other Senior members as it relates to Parts and supplies aftermarket business.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively and efficiently apply business and financial acumen to the HVAC parts and supplies business.
- Effective organizational skills and time management.
- Ability to address and effectively manage complex changing business environment.
- Strong understanding of the HVAC Distribution network and operations.
- Strong working knowledge of GBU MINCRON ordering system and its impact on parts and supplies industry.
Experience:
- 15 plus years in the HVAC Distribution business
Education:
- Advanced Business Degree
