You will assist with general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
- Prepare and post journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and assist with monthly close processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury functions.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support variance analysis and budget vs. actual reporting.
- Provide documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain accurate records for 1099s and other compliance documentation.
- Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements.
- Support payroll processing and reconcile payroll sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
- Respond to information requests from management and auditors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-sized or tech-focused company.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with inventory and/or contract manufacturing.
- Experience in AI technology or SaaS environments.
- Experience with Concur Employee Expense.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
