Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Project Manager. This position manages less complex or well-defined mechanical, turnkey, and control projects, often with established processes and under the guidance of a senior project manager. Plans and Coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. Location: In office, Phoenix AZ

What you will do: 

• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Works closely with Sales Coordinators on subcontract agreements, equipment ordering, financial reviews, milestone billings, and project closeout documentation (with direct oversight and support).
• Coordinates with Control Application Engineers for control system design and graphics under guidance and review.
• Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.
• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
• Obtains acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.
• Responsible for the successful completion of the project.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical, scientific or engineering degree
• 2-4 years of related experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  
  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• MS Office and MS Project experience
• Sheet metal fabrication and assembly using state-of-art manufacturing processes

The typical salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $132,800 10% Bonus Incentive in Arizona. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
