Daikin Applied is seeking a Planner Scheduler whose purpose is to support the planning and scheduling functions and inventory requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative support, preparing inventory orders, maintaining records, and forecasting future orders. Location: Owatonna, MN

Shift: Flexible 1st shift, Monday – Friday

What You Will Do

• Provides administrative support to production and inventory control functions
• Reviews completed sales orders for accuracy and expedites paperwork related to sales orders.
• May contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates
• May maintain electronic and or paper files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories
• May prepare materials and supplies purchase orders. Analyzes quotes and expedites deliveries and shipments
• May process change orders, notifies vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, contacts vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials
• May provide data as requested to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders
• Provides input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested. Assists with maintaining records of in-house and on-order material

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience
• Associates degree in business or a related field
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  
  

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $19.38 - $29.95 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
