Role Description The Oncology Territory Manager, Lung will be responsible for driving adoption of Daiichi Sankyo’s oncology portfolio within the Omaha Metropolitan Area through on-site customer engagement. This full-time role includes developing and executing territory business plans, identifying key oncology stakeholders, and building strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, office staff, and health system decision-makers. The Oncology Territory Manager will conduct product presentations, communicate clinical data and value propositions in a compliant manner, and support appropriate product access and utilization. Day-to-day activities also involve monitoring market dynamics, gathering field insights, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and maintaining accurate records in customer relationship management (CRM) systems. The role requires frequent in-person visits to clinics, hospitals, and other care settings, as well as occasional evening or meeting-related commitments to support educational programs and territory objectives.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in oncology or specialty pharmaceutical sales, preferably with lung cancer therapies or related oncology products.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in territory planning, account management, and execution of strategic business plans to achieve or exceed sales goals.
  • Comfort presenting complex clinical and scientific information, with the ability to translate data into clear, patient-centered value discussions.
  • High level of personal accountability, organization, and time management, including effective use of CRM tools and reporting systems.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with medical, market access, and marketing teams while maintaining compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; advanced degree or clinical background is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to travel within the Omaha Metropolitan Area, and readiness to work primarily on-site with customers.
  • Knowledge of oncology treatment pathways, reimbursement dynamics, and local healthcare systems is strongly preferred.
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-focused promotion and adherence to all regulatory, legal, and company compliance standards.
