We’re looking for a motivated CDL Driver who takes pride in safe, professional, on-time deliveries and is eager to be part of a hardworking team. What You’ll Do
- Safely transport structural and miscellaneous steel loads to job sites using a variety of equipment, including flatbeds, drop-decks, gooseneck trailers, and a straight truck
- Secure loads properly and ensure all delivery paperwork is accurate and complete
- Plan routes and delivery schedules efficiently, balancing safety with timeliness and maintaining solid communication with the shipping coordinator
- Represent DBI professionally while coordinating with jobsite personnel during deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in full compliance with FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service requirements
- Assist with loading/unloading as needed, prioritize safety, maintain a clean vehicle, and follow all DOT and company protocols
- Additional duties may include working in our fabrication and maintenance shops doing non welding duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
- 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiar with GPS/routing systems and DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Strong time management, route planning, and communication skills
- Positive, go-getter attitude; able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work independently
- Respectful, focused, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
