Overview:
Under the supervision of the Inventory/Spare Parts Manager, the Spare Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing all spare parts activities to support both internal and external customer needs. Responsibilities include general shipping and receiving duties, accurate data entry, efficient inventory handling, timely response to part requests and inquiries, maintaining compliance with company standards and safety protocols, and adhering to all critical timeframe requirements. This position involves a high pace and high-volume workload that requires attention to detail and a team collaboration type mindset.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive, process, and document all incoming shipments and part requests (internal and external).
2. Accurately enter inventory data into SAP and maintain up-to-date records.
3. Pull, package, and ship parts.
4. Receiving parts from vendors.
5. Label and stock parts on the shelves.
6. Respond to customers’ inquiries in emails and by phone in a timely manner.
7. File and organize customer orders and paperwork.
8. Ensure on-hand spare parts inventory are correct to process orders on time.
9. Assist with cycle counting when needed.
10. Operate warehouse equipment safely – includes forklifts and pallet jacks.
11. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
12. Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while meeting critical deadlines.
13. Participate in on-call rotations, including potential weekend shifts.
