Position Summary:
The Custodian -2nd Shift cleans the company facility and provides a sanitary, comfortable work environment.
Ideal candidate:
- Authorized to work in United States without requiring sponsorship
- Ability to work 2nd Shift hours 2:30pm-11:00pm CST Monday-Friday)
- Ability to work weekends/overtime if required
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintains the facility in sanitary condition through washing, cleaning , and replaceme nt of equipment and furnishings
- Applies cleaning solu tions and chemicals to surfaces
- Empties trash containers and disposes of debris appropriately
- Sweeps and vacuums floors
- Cleans sta ins from carpets and upholstery
- Damp- dust s furniture, li ght fixtures, window sills , and other surfaces
- Clean s bathrooms , including toilets, wash basins , and mirrors
- Identifies and reports needed repairs
- Washes windows
- Replenish es supplies , such as cafeter i a and bathroom items
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Grea t communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
