Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Material Coordinator performs support tasks for the manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Entering data into SAP database about quantities of issued and transferred parts
- Resolving job/segments shortage discrepancies
- Receiving manufactured parts into stock and issue out to upcoming jobs
- Assisting in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency
- Identifying parts through the use of UKG and drawings
- Update daily Sr. Management on status of shortages on the segments
- Investigate missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders
- Monitor and keep an updated shortage list available for the Shipping Management team
- Work with every department to resolve shortages to close job/segments in time
- Inform shipping of any findings to help segments ship on time
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
- UKG/SAP experience preferred
- Strong computer skills including including Word and Excel
- Accurate data entry skills
- Technical orientation
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervisionAbility to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task on a daily basis
- Ability to work Saturdays as needed

ADA Requirements:
