We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our freezer warehouse team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a cold environment, enjoys hands-on physical work, and can perform efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and load incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Organize, store, and replenish inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts, as authorized and trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company policies and safety procedures.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a freezer environment at temperatures as low as 5°F (-15°C). Appropriate protective gear will be provided.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying shipments.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts is a plus; required training and authorization must be completed before operating equipment.
Work Environment
This position involves active, hands-on work in a freezer warehouse with frequent exposure to temperatures as low as 5°F (-15°C). Employees must follow all applicable safety procedures and use the protective equipment provided.
