About the Role:
DAI, INC is looking for a dedicated and professional Estate Security Close Protection Officer to join our team in Inwood, WV. This is a unique opportunity to work in a private estate environment where your vigilance and professionalism will make a real impact. This position is primary for NIGHT-SHIFT coverage. Candidates must be comfortable working overnight hours and have the flexibility to work alternating weekends as required. Responsibilities:
- Provide close protection and personal security for principals, VIPs, and estate residents
- Monitor and patrol estate grounds to deter, detect, and respond to security threats
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal security teams as needed
- Manage access control, visitor screening, and perimeter security protocols
- Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans
- Maintain detailed security logs, incident reports, and situational awareness briefings
- Prior experience in close protection, executive protection, law enforcement, or military service
- Valid Maryland Security Guard license or ability to obtain one
- CPR/First Aid certification required; tactical medical training a plus
- Strong situational awareness, threat assessment, and risk mitigation skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations
- Clean background check and valid driver's license required
- Must be able to work night shift, and stay alert at all times
