Field Lead

Posted Date: 09/03/2026 Job Title: Field Lead Position Type: Full-Time Main Responsibilities: • Lead team to ensure precision and high quality work to Dahmes Stainless standards • Knowledge of Dahmes Stainless design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models • Inspect work progress, equipment, or project sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met. • Proficient in stainless TIG, MIG, and sanitary tubing welding on projects and equipment • Advanced in complex pipe fitting and piping layout processes and execution • Sanitary grinding & polishing to 3A standards • Sheet metal fitting, building vessels, and ductwork • Advanced Rigger with practical knowledge of signaling, cranes, and telehandlers • Strong math skills and use in application for accurate and efficient installations • Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to Dahmes specifications, by welding, brazing, soldering, or threading joints • Attach pipes to walls, structures, or fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment. • Assist Field Supervisor in full scale lay out drawings and P&ID’s and install equipment as designed to Dahmes Stainless standards • Modify, clean, or maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, or related machines or equipment, using hand or power tools. • Demonstrate strong communication skills with team members • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. • Train and mentor team members and assist in building overall crew skill development • Ability to work with Field Supervisor on solving installation issues • Assist Field Supervisor in maintaining a safe work environment and lead site safety by example Required Skills: • Highschool Diploma or GED • Formal welding training and/or 5+ years of similar experience preferred • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs frequently • Must have valid driver’s license and able to pass DOT physical • Must be able to pass a drug test at any time • Authorized to travel internationally Preferred Competency/Experience/Education: • Ability to be flexible on scheduling when needed and always punctual • Ability to adapt easily to different work and team environments • Ability to work 9 days on and 5 days off - Tuesday through the following Wednesday (including travel days) • Ability to lift heavy objects Available Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision; 401K match; flexible spending accounts; basic and voluntary life insurance; disability insurances; paid holidays; paid time off (PTO); employee assistance program; personal development program; referral bonus; bereavement leave.
