Job Description
The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for managing and responding to daily pricing requests for new and existing customers within a specific transportation mode, product, or trade lane. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work against deadlines, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and competitive pricing.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing, completing, and responding to daily pricing requests in accordance with assigned due dates and service level agreements
- Ensuring compliance with internal operational policies prior to submitting pricing (including validation of restricted or prohibited commodities and identification of embargoed countries)
- Documenting notes for every pricing activity that clearly explain how pricing was developed to support operational execution upon award
- Monitoring progress toward assigned goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting monthly results to management
- Communicating and building strong working relationships with internal network offices to maintain current accessorial and door-to-door pricing information
- Collaborating with peers and leadership to identify best practices, improve pricing quality, and support higher win ratios
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to reliably count and perform simple math calculations using a calculator
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience or exposure to air freight pricing or operations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured, process-driven environment
- Basic quantitative and calculation skills
- Comfort working with pricing tools, spreadsheets, and documentation systems
- Strong written communication skills for pricing documentation and internal coordination
- Previous experience in pricing, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Familiarity with global trade compliance concepts
