About us
Dahl Investments is a Tampa-based real estate investment company. Our portfolio is mostly multifamily, along with hospitality and private equity. Many of our investors are local, and we put money into places we know and care about. We're a small team, and the books behind every property matter.
The role
- You keep the books for our multifamily property entities.
- You own bill pay across the portfolio.
- You support our private equity deals as needed. These are light on day-to-day work.
What you'll do
- Entity bookkeeping: keep separate books for each LLC in QuickBooks.
- Bill pay: enter, code, and pay vendor bills on time.
- Reconciliations: reconcile bank and credit card accounts every month.
- Intercompany: record transfers and entries between entities correctly.
- Month-end: close each entity's books and have them ready for review.
- Property software: work alongside AppFolio for property-level activity.
What you need
- Accounting background: a degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Accounting principles: you understand accrual accounting, the full accounting cycle, and how the financial statements connect.
- Multi-entity QuickBooks: required. You've managed several sets of books at once.
- Experience: 2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting. [Kiel: review range]
- Accuracy: you catch errors before they post.
- Ahead of deadlines: you see what's coming and handle it before anyone asks.
Nice to have
- AppFolio: helpful, but we'll teach it.
- Real estate: multifamily or property bookkeeping experience.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
