We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Commercial Lines Insurance Producer to grow and manage a portfolio of business-to-business clients. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who understands commercial risk, enjoys developing long-term client partnerships, and thrives in a performance-based environment.
You will be responsible for identifying prospects, evaluating risk exposures, designing tailored insurance solutions, and collaborating with internal service teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and close new B2B commercial insurance accounts
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, and outbound sales activity
- Conduct risk assessments and client needs analyses across commercial coverages

Design and present insurance solutions including:
- General Liability
- Property
- Workers' Compensation
- Commercial Auto
- Umbrella/Excess
- Industry-specific coverages
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage with carriers
- Develop long-term client relationships through proactive service and renewal strategies
- Collaborate with account managers and underwriting teams to ensure smooth onboarding and renewals
- Stay current on market conditions, carrier appetites, and regulatory changes
- Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking in agency management systems and CRM tools
Qualifications
- Active PropertyCasualty insurance license (required)
- 3 years of experience producing in B2B sales
- Proven track record of new business development and retention
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management principles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a commission-based environment
