Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers in locating products and answer questions about features and benefits
- Conduct product demos to showcase merchandise and encourage sales through upselling techniques
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and reporting low inventory levels
- Apply basic math skills for cash register operations, pricing adjustments, and sales calculations
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Support team members with cashiering duties, customer service initiatives, and general store upkeep
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse customers and team members
- Assist in training new staff or supervising junior team members when needed
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
