·We are currently seeking a Quality Control Assistant/ QC Technician to join our growing manufacturing facility in Murray, Kentucky. This role is essential to ensuring that products meet customer specifications, internal quality standards, and production requirements while supporting the manufacture of high-precision automotive components. TThis role is ideal for someone who understands measuring tools, can read part requirements, and is comfortable working on the shop floor. It is a reporting‑focused position where you gather information, verify details, and enter data into the computer. The job requires constant movement between the production floor and the office.
Key Responsibilities

The position also works directly with the MES system, so the candidate must be able to navigate and input information accurately within the system.
·Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections on automotive components.
· Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators, and other inspection tools to verify part dimensions and specifications.
· Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation in accordance with company requirements.
· Identify nonconforming parts, segregate suspect material, and report quality issues to supervisors and relevant departments.
· Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to quality concerns.
· Ensure compliance with control plans, work instructions, inspection standards, and customer requirements.
· Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to maintain product quality and improve processes.
This position requires prior experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of part inspection and measurement methods. We are looking for candidates with hands-on quality control experience and the ability to make accurate decisions based on specifications and standards.
Qualifications
· Computer literate, with the ability to work confidently with digital systems, inspection software, and production-related technology. (IS A MUST)
· Proven experience in quality control, inspection, in manufacturing role.(AUTOMOTIVE is a plus)
·Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
·Good documentation, communication, and reporting skills.
· Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
·Ability to identify defects and determine whether products meet specifications.
· Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, inspection standards, and part specifications.
