Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Logistics and Materials Planner to coordinate the planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products. The successful candidate will ensure that inventory levels are optimized, delivery schedules are met, and materials are efficiently moved through the supply chain to meet production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage material requirement plans (MRPs) to ensure the timely availability of materials for production.
- Analyze inventory data and forecast demand to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align material planning with business needs.
- Schedule and coordinate logistics operations, including inbound/outbound shipments, transportation, and warehousing.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules; resolve any delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and logistics data in ERP systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare reports on material usage, logistics performance, and inventory trends.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or materials planning roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems ( SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with international logistics, import/export regulations, and Incoterms.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- The work environment is a manufacturing plant with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
