Our Maintenance team is looking for a dynamic Tool and Die Maker. The Tool and Die Maker is responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and special guiding and holding devices used in manufacturing processes. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, high attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Adjusting and maintaining holding fixtures for production welding process.
• Set up and operate manual, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Inspect finished tools and dies using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.).
• Perform heat-treating and surface finishing operations as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot die and tooling issues to minimize production downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers, Quality team and production teams to modify and improve tooling design.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Documentation:
• Maintain records of all repairs, inspections, calibrations, and maintenance activities.
• Update maintenance manuals and troubleshoot guides.

Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with engineers, operators, and supervisors to identify and fix mechanical issues.
Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Actively participate in safety audits and inspections.
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste products.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with a typical work schedule of 8-hour days with flexibility to adjust as necessary based on production needs.
• The work environment is a manufacturing plant with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Occasional travel may be required for customer interaction, training, meetings, or supplier plant assessments.
Requirements
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED; completion of an apprenticeship program or technical training in tool and die making preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tool and die manufacturing or a similar machining role.
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, materials, and tooling technologies.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
