Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales and change handling
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, and bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
- Manage reservations through platforms like OpenTable and coordinate seating arrangements for optimal guest flow
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge and cocktail recipes
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as restaurant technology tools
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently
- Basic math skills for managing bills, tips, and change calculations
- Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; food safety certification is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, drink service techniques, and food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality settings such as restaurants or nightclubs is highly desirable
