Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Seamless Gutter Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality seamless gutters that protect homes and commercial buildings from water damage. Your expertise will ensure precise measurements, efficient installation, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Measure and mark areas for seamless gutter installation accurately using blueprints, schematics, and site measurements.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Cut, shape, and assemble gutters using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to match project specifications.
- Install gutters securely on various building types, ensuring proper slope for effective water runoff.
- Seal joints with caulking or sealant to prevent leaks and ensure long-lasting performance.
- Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to verify proper alignment, secure fastening, and overall workmanship.
- Collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work, roofing, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to gutter installation.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection procedures, and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise measurements and installations.
- Experience with fabrication techniques including cutting and shaping materials like aluminum or vinyl gutters.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work at heights on ladders or scaffolding, and perform manual tasks over extended periods. Preferred qualifications include experience with construction management software such as Bluebeam, plumbing or electrical experience related to building systems, as well as skills in restoration or fixture installation that complement gutter work.
