System Administrator II - Information Technology (I.T.) Department

Summary:

Accountable for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the company’s critical applications/systems, such as the core processor or lending systems. Recommends and researches enhancements to the systems key components. Insures that operating systems, hardware, software systems, and related operating procedures are updated to meet organizational needs.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Installs and modifies PC and network hardware and software. Works with tech support vendors and field engineers. Diagnoses hardware, software, and operator problems, takes remedial actions, and recommends changes. Installs peripheral equipment, such as monitors, key boards, printers, and disk drives, as needed.

    • Performs daily and other scheduled core data processing operations. Performs routine system maintenance. Monitors system operations to minimize downtime. Performs duties of a LAN/WAN Administrator. Ensures working conditions of workstations including software license management. Performs network troubleshooting. Reports problems to external system providers, such as telecomm, mainframe, web host, and software vendors to resolve. Adhere to IT policy standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers, and data including coordination of network schedule, backups and downtime with users.

    • Promotes all aspects of assigned department projects and effectively allocates financial and talent resources appropriately.

    • Develops, recommends, and implements new system features, enhancements and updates for customer service delivery channels: website, home banking, kiosks, e-mail, and telephone banking.

    • Trains staff according to program requirements and hardware capabilities providing detailed instructions to support internal processes. Works with other departments to make sure their technology needs are met.

    • Assists with the support and maintenance of VOIP phone system including pone system administration and phone configuration.

    • Assists the company and staff personnel with software and hardware related to Email, core processing systems, LAN/WAN, FedLine, imaging and other automated systems. Responds to customer and staff personnel requests for technical assistance by phone and in person resulting in quality service for the customer.

    • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.Maintains and supports in-house phone system (Cisco Call Manager, UCCX, IMP, Calabrio, Calero)


Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
    • 3-5 years of experience Enterprise Windows Domain 
    • 2-3 years of experience Microsoft 365 Administration 
    • 1-2 years of experience vmware vSphere or Nutanix 
    • 1-2 years of experience IT Governance and Compliance environment 
    • 2-3 years of experience Vulnerability Remediation Management 
    • 2- 3 years of experience Email Security Administration 
    • M365 Administrator Expert Certification a plus 
    • Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate required. (or equivalent experience) 
    • Vmware, Nutanix, Cisco Certifications are a plus. 
    • Strong Technical written and communication skills are required. 
    • 3 years of experience, that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
