Position Summary

The Community Engagement Lending Clerk performs a range of administrative and lending support duties while assisting with community engagement initiatives. This role ensures loan documents and applications are accurate and compliant, maintains organized records, and helps foster positive relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and pipeline requests for accuracy and adherence to service timelines and credit union standards.
• Ensure loan documents are accurate, complete, and comply with credit union policies.
• Create and organize electronic loan folders and checklists.
• Maintain On-base folders and digital filing systems.
• Assist with monthly reporting related to lending and community engagement activities.
• Support community engagement projects and events, including managing the community engagement calendar.
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan management software preferred.
• Interest or experience in community outreach and engagement is a plus.
  
  

Working Conditions

• Office environment with occasional community or event-based activities.
• Full-time position with standard business hours. (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm)
