- Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
The Role: RN - Resource Pool / Float (M/S Tele)In this role, you will be a vital and flexible member of the healthcare team, floating to where you are needed most. You will provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population on Medical-Surgical Telemetry units. Your adaptability and critical thinking will be key as you may also be expected to care for patients being held in the Emergency Department.
- Providing direct nursing care to adult patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Continuous cardiac monitoring, interpretation of telemetry strips, and responding to changes in patient status.
- Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapy.
- Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Educating patients and their families on disease management and discharge planning.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.
- Licensure & Certs: Active NY State RN License (or proof of application). AHA BLS is required.
- Systems: Epic experience from within the last 2 years is required and non-negotiable.
- Preferred/Conditional: CMSRN certification is a plus. NIHSS certification will be required prior to your start date.

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,400.00 per week
