Essential Responsibilities:
Cannabis Trimming & Product Quality
- Hand-trim cannabis buds with precision to achieve high-quality finished product.
- Remove leaves, stems, and excess material while preserving bud structure and potency.
- Maintain consistent trim standards across all batches.
- Follow all SOPs for trimming, handling, and product care.
Compliance & Sanitation
- Adhere to all state and local cannabis regulations related to processing and handling.
- Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards to prevent contamination.
- Ensure all work practices align with company SOPs and compliance requirements.
Production & Efficiency
- Work efficiently to meet daily trimming quotas and production goals.
- Support smooth workflow within the post-harvest department.
- Report any product quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Teamwork & Communication
- Collaborate with team members to maintain steady production output.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding progress or issues.
- Contribute to a positive, organized, and team-oriented work environment.
Workspace Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient trimming station.

Qualifications
Required
- Prior experience in cannabis trimming or a similar production role required.

Preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move up to 60 pounds regularly throughout scheduled shifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while performing daily cultivation tasks.
- Comfortable working in hot, humid grow environments with temperatures ranging from approximately 75–85°F and humidity levels between 60–70%.
- Ability to work under high-intensity grow lighting for extended periods of time.
- Must possess strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform detailed tasks such as trimming, transplanting, cloning, pruning, and plant maintenance.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented work throughout the workday while maintaining consistency and quality standards.
- Ability to operate cultivation tools, irrigation equipment, sprayers, trimming equipment, and other facility systems safely and effectively.
- Comfortable working around cannabis plants, fertilizers, organic pesticides, soil, growing media, dust, and strong plant odors.
- Ability to maintain focus, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced cultivation environment with strict compliance requirements.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented cultivation setting.
- Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and compliance procedures precisely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Comfortable moving throughout multiple grow rooms and cultivation areas during the course of a shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding plant health, equipment issues, and operational needs.
