Position Overview
We are hiring experienced Field Mechanics with strong diagnostic and repair
background with construction and heavy equipment expertise. This role is open to
both full-time employees and rotational contractors from anywhere in the U.S.
We provide company housing in Williston, ND, making rotational work comfortable and
convenient. This is a hands-on field role where your experience, technical knowledge,
and communication skills are critical to keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently.
What We Offer
Pay: $85,000 – $150,000 annualized (salary or hourly, depending on
arrangement).
Flexible Schedule: Typical rotation is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off; alternate
schedules may be available.
Housing: Company-provided apartments for rotating employees/contractors.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain various models of hydraulic cranes and other
heavy equipment including tractor/trailers, fleet vehicles and dirt equipment
Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to troubleshoot
complex issues
Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and field repairs under demanding
conditions
Communicate clearly with equipment manufacturers’ remote support teams
to resolve complex technical problems
Collaborate with dispatch, operators, and management to minimize downtime
Uphold company safety standards and ensure compliance with field procedures
Qualifications
8 years of experience as a heavy equipment or crane field mechanic (oilfield
experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of electric-over-hydraulic systems and electrical diagnostics
Excellent mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in outdoor/field environments year-round
Willingness to work rotational schedules and travel to Williston, ND
