Job Summary

As a Regional Retail Manager at Dacotah Bank, you will motivate, coach, and support the vision of providing outstanding customer service and performance by leading a team of Market Retail Leaders in outlying bank locations. This position will train and develop Market Retail Leaders around soundness and efficiency in markets, implementation of market performance objectives, diagnosis performance problems, and address talent management needs. The ideal candidate excels in time management and thrives in a dynamic retail environment, consistently meeting team objectives and going above and beyond standard responsibilities. They possess the ability to present information clearly to various management levels and navigate change with ease. Proficiency in multiple computer systems and applications is essential, alongside a collaborative spirit that fosters teamwork. Excellent communication skills, characterized by clarity and a pleasant tone, are crucial for success in this role.

Essential Functions

  • Strategize with Market Presidents and Market Retail Leaders to create a plan that focuses on customer service and meeting the needs of our customers based on their financial needs
  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
  • Develop and hold team accountable for customer facing programs to inspire engagement
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks
  • Diagnose and analyze data to identify performance gaps
  • Lead and inspire change through clear and transparent objectives
  • Collaborate and communicate across lines of business to ensure alignment
  • Management of retail teams

       

      Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree and/or 7 years of related experience in a sales management role, with high performance sales teams
      • Management experience preferred
      • Experience developing strategic partnerships
      • Experience leading, motivating, coaching, training, and developing a team to meet performance objectives
      • Experience complying with policies and procedures
      • Experience leading or participating in events and activities for local networks or professional organizations
      • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of an organization
      • High motivation with ability to successfully meet team objectives long term
      • Ability to present to multiple levels of management
      • Ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities in a retail environment
      • Ability to go above and beyond standard job responsibilities
      • Ability and experience in navigating change
      • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
      • Good communication skills including speaking clearly, succinctly, and accurately while using a pleasant tone and common conversational courtesies

        Travel

        At least 50% of the time spent in this position requires business travel. You will be in the markets working with your teams. The percentage of time may vary week to week depending on the needs within the region.
