We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental receptionist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires Dental Reception experience, collecting and filling dental insurances, correctly entering patients personal and billing information. MUST be efficient with using Dentrix and other dental office programs. The ideal candidate must also have good time management skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, answering/calling patients for scheduling and have the knowledge of proper dental procedurals when explaining details to our patients. At times the office can be very busy, so the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and check out patients and answering phones is a high priority/demand. ** Must have 3 or more years of experience in dental reception and filling insurances. Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office.- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, schedule; cancel and rescheduling appointments- File insurance claims, prior authorization before work is started.- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy before distribution.- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.- Support office operations by ensuring the front desk area tidy and presentable.- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. -Collecting and posting payments -Communicating with insurance companies to verify patient benefits and eligibility- File insurance claims and track the progress- Strong proofreading skills to ensure high-quality communication.- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus; additional certification in dental radiograph is a plus. Qualifications:- Proven experience as a dental office receptionist.
