Job Overview
We are seeking skilled CNC Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience operating various CNC machinery. This role is essential for producing high-quality components that meet our strict specifications. The CNC Operator will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills with a high degree of competency. Including: setting up fixtures, clamping raw stock, loading and selecting tools from tool list.
- Adjust machine controls and change tool settings in order to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specification according to print.
- Perform machine maintenance as needed.
- Perform other machine shop duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Experience with general hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
- Must have good math skills including the metric and standard systems.
- Have general understanding of basic machine shop equipment and its safe operation.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts a plus.
- Wire EDM and/or Water Jet operating experience a plus.
