Part-Time Block Clerk – Sale Day Only (Thursdays)

DAA Portland, a premier wholesale auto auction in Portland, is seeking Part-Time Block Clerks to join our dynamic auction team! This is a sale-day only position, ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and thrives in high-energy situations.
What You'll Do:
As a Block Clerk, you’ll be right in the action — working closely with our auctioneer to:
- Accurately record bids and bidder numbers during the auction
- Provide excellent customer service to buyers at the block
- Guide buyers through the vehicle purchase process
- Explain and order post-sale inspections using our system
Schedule:
- Thursdays only
- Start at 9:00 AM until the auction concludes (generally by 1:00 PM)
What We're Looking For:
- 1 year of clerical, office, or customer service experience
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to stay focused in a fast-moving, high-energy setting
- Proficiency with 10-key and data entry
- Willingness to learn — detailed training provided
