What are the responsibilities and job description for the PART TIME Auction Block Clerk position at DAA Northwest?
DAA Northwest is a wholesale auto auction located in Spokane, WA. We have immediate openings for PART TIME Block Clerks. Our Block Clerks are essential to our Sale Day operations. This position is responsible for quickly and accurately recording bids and bidder numbers for the auctioneer during the sale. Our Block Clerks also provide exceptional customer service while having our buyers sign for the purchase of their vehicles, making sure they are aware of their post-sale inspection options and ordering those inspections through our computer system.
Our ideal candidate will possess at least one year of clerical, office and/or customer service experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced, high energy Sale Day activities. Proficiency with a ten-key and data entry is a must. Because of the unique nature of this position, detailed training is provided. This position is sale-day only — one day a week on Thursdays with a start time of 8:30 AM until the auction is over, which is generally by 2:00 PM.
