Senior IT EPIC Data Application Analyst

Summary
Our client is seeking an Epic Data Application Analyst to support its Digital Front Door (DFD ) initiative by enabling a modern, cloud‑based data and AI ecosystem. This role will focus on analyzing and transforming Epic EHR clinical and operational data into a high‑quality, AI‑ready data foundation that supports analytics, APIs, and advanced AI use cases across a multi‑cloud environment (GCP and Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Fabric). The analyst will work closely with cloud data engineers and business stakeholders to validate data readiness, support product development, and accelerate delivery of scalable cloud data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• -Analyze and profile Epic Clarity and related Epic data sources.
• -Translate clinical and business requirements into data analysis and extraction strategies.
• -Design and execute complex SQL queries to support analytics and downstream use cases.
• -Develop and maintain data mappings, business rules, and data lineage documentation.
• -Prepare and validate datasets for cloud-based analytics, AI/ML, and application use.
• -Conduct ad hoc analyses and clearly communicate insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• -Support discovery and validation of initial data products and recommend paths for scale.
• -Manage multiple workstreams while collaborating across cross‑functional teams.

Requirements

• -Strong experience with Epic EHR data, including Epic Clarity.
• -Advanced SQL and healthcare data analysis expertise.
• -Experience with data profiling, data mapping, and lineage.
• -Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (GCP, Azure, Microsoft Fabric preferred).
• -Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree with four (4) years’ experience.

  Associate’s degree with six (6) years’ experience.
