Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management. This role involves supervising maintenance teams, managing projects, and ensuring all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of facilities, grounds and facilities staff for FOB/Base Camp of assigned program.

Duties

  • Supervise daily activities of organizational staff to ensure effective efficiencies in compliance with policies/procedures, corporate, government, contractual and legal requirements.
  • Supervise direct reports to include assessing and assigning work, evaluating performance, and approving time.
  • Represent the company to vendors and suppliers and serve as liaison to building management and/or vendors regarding facility issues.
  • Oversee various administrative functions such as scheduling of maintenance and repairs, planning and coordinating moves, ordering supplies, inventory control, and troubleshooting building issues and equipment.
  • Ensure flow process of new hires for required documentation that pertains to the contract.
  • Assist Facilities Manager with requirements analysis, planning, design development, stakeholder representation, and acquisition/implementation.
  • Keep buildings and facilities in good status to comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Analyze technical data, designs, or preliminary specifications.
  • Positions in field locations may have responsibility for overseeing and implementing all safety policies and procedures and ensuring that all safety requirements are observed.
  • Positions in field locations may manage the planning, procurement and use of equipment needed to ensure timely and efficient response to general and building services request, supervising numerous vendor and subcontractor relationships.
  • Provide direct onsite supervision of facility operations.
  • Coordinate with government security and detention personnel to ensure facility support aligns with operational requirements.
  • Monitor daily living support services onsite (sanitation, utilities, food service coordination, and maintenance response).
  • Conduct onsite inspections and walk-throughs to verify compliance with safety, environmental, and health standards.
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for emergency response, facility incidents, and immediate corrective actions.
  • Ensure real-time coordination with vendors and subcontractors onsite, including rapid mobilization for repairs or service requests.

Oversee onsite documentation and reporting to government representatives, ensuring transparency and audit readiness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in facilities maintenance, base camp maintenance, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills, with ability to make effective decisions regarding facilities matters.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Thorough working knowledge of facilities management, planning open/closed, individual, and special use spaces.
  • Technical and comprehensive knowledge of operating procedures of all office equipment and facilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of local regulations regarding facilities.
  • Able to repair and construct structures according to applicable building codes.
  • Excellent planning, management, and organization skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent

OTHER RESPONSIBILTIES

As appropriate, each employee is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams.

  • 3rd Shift 3:00pm-12:00am with 1 hour lunch

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $36.50 - $37.50 per hour
