Reporting to the Assistant Head of School for Academic Affairs, the Center’s Director plans conferences and speaker series related to global and civic education; hosts visiting speakers, scholars, and educators; coordinates the Academy’s broad range of community service programs, including grants and summer projects; oversees international and domestic travel and study opportunities; promotes global awareness across the Deerfield community and curriculum; and advances environmental stewardship and sustainability through experiential and place-based learning.
