The Role
D9 Drinkz is seeking a high-energy, strategically minded Territory Sales Manager to lead our expansion across the legendary Jersey Shore. You won't just be selling a drink; you’ll be the face of the fastest-growing category in the beverage industry: Cannabis RTDs.
From the high-volume boardwalk dispensaries and bustling summer hotspots in Asbury Park and Belmar, down to Atlantic City and Cape May, you will be responsible for placing our D9 Drinkz portfolio (including our Delta-9 THC seltzers) in the hands of Jersey consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Growth: Identify and open new accounts across the Jersey Shore, targeting licensed adult-use dispensaries and strategic retail partners.
- Portfolio Advocacy: Educate buyers and budtenders on the science of our D9 RTD beverages, including fast onset times, crisp flavor profiles, and the "Social High" alternative to alcohol.
- Compliance Expert: Stay ahead of New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) rules and local municipal guidelines to ensure our retail partners are always compliant.
- Event & Activation: Lead "Drip & Sip" tasting events and represent D9 Drinkz at major shore events, beach festivals, and industry pop-ups.
- Strategic Reporting: Use local market data to provide feedback to HQ on Jersey-specific consumer trends, seasonal summer spikes, and competitor pricing.
Requirements
- Experience: 1 years in Beverage Sales (Alcohol/CPG) or Cannabis Sales. Experience navigating New Jersey's unique liquor/cannabis landscape or established relationships with local dispensary procurement managers is a massive plus.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of Jersey Shore geography and culture—you know the difference between the locals' off-season spots and the peak summer rush from the Parkway to the boardwalks.
- Legal: Must be 21 and possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to meet all state requirements for cannabis industry employment in New Jersey.
- Hustle: This is a field-heavy role. You are comfortable being on the road, beating the summer traffic, and closing deals face-to-face.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track your sales pipeline.
