Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs from concept through construction documents
- Develop design concepts and produce high-quality presentation materials
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents and detailing
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist with code research, zoning analysis, and permitting processes
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs
- Mentor and support junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 5–8 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (SketchUp. Enscape and/or Rhino a plus)
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and detailing
- Excellent design, graphic, and visualization skills
- Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure
- Experience in commercial, mixed-use, maritime or multi-family projects,
- Familiarity with South Florida codes and permitting processes
