Forward Deployed Software Engineer

My client builds mission-specific AI applications for the world's most ambitious organizations. They work on mission-critical problems across healthcare, energy, manufacturing, financial services, aviation, supply chain, national security, and more, building an AI application layer that creates compounding AI advantages at each of our customers.
We do true forward deployed engineering. That means high urgency and ownership. You work directly with customers who are dominating their industries, building mission-specific software that creates lasting competitive advantages.

About this role
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, you will be responsible for helping our customers solve their most valuable problems, working closely with stakeholders to conceive, architect, build, and maintain applications that make a measurable impact on their business. Day to day, you’ll understand a customer’s most critical objectives and build operationalized workflows on their enterprise data that end users actually use to make change within the business.
You’ll iterate quickly, build from scratch, and help organizations transform their operations at uncommon speed. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you won’t just ship code - you’ll help reshape how entire organizations work by putting powerful tools in the hands of executives and real operators.
Requirements:
- 1 - 5 years of experience as a Full stack engineer, data engineer, or FDE
- Built production- grade applications from vague business requirements
- Hands- on data analysis and statistical skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or Typescript
- Experience with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP
- Track record of excellence in career or extracurriculars
- Experience at smaller, startup- like companies
Education
- Quantitative major (e. g. , Applied Math, Stats, Chemical Engineering)
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science
