What are the responsibilities and job description for the Military Tactics Instructor position at D2 Government Solutions?
D2 Government Solutions (D2GS) is seeking a full-time candidate for Military Tactics Training Instructor at our site location in Port Hueneme, CA.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide course of instruction in Small Unit Tactics
- Provide course of instruction in Small Unit Leadership
- Provide course of instruction in Self-Mobility Convoy Security
- Provide course of instruction in Crew Served Weapons
- Provide course of instruction in Tactical Unit Leadership
- Provide Field Training Exercise Management
- Serve as Safety Officer during Life Fire Training Events
- Guide and mentor students during classroom and field based training events
- Provide support for various training sites and locations
Qualifications/Requirements include:
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET (tier 3) security clearance
- Must have instructor certifications or have qualifications in the following: Navy NEC 9502/Marine/Army/Air Force MOS Instructor certified, Coast Guard Instructor, DoD Agency or civilian equivalent
- Must have a valid passport
- Must be able to travel to various training sites
- Must be CPR certified
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and written
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
