About the Role
D1 Training – Macon is hiring a part-time coach to lead early-morning adult group fitness sessions. We're looking for someone who brings positive energy, clear communication, and strong coaching fundamentals. If you enjoy helping adults get stronger, move better, and start their day with purpose, this is a great opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Coach structured 60-minute adult strength and conditioning classes
• Demonstrate movements and provide clear cues and corrections
• Offer regressions and progressions for a wide range of fitness levels
• Deliver warm-ups, strength blocks, conditioning work, and cool-downs
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized training environment
• Build rapport with members and contribute to a positive culture
• Set up equipment before class and reset the room afterward
Qualifications
• Experience in group fitness or personal training preferred
• National certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, AFAA, CSCS, etc.) preferred
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and confidence leading groups
• Solid understanding of functional movement and basic strength training
• Reliable and punctual for early-morning coaching
