Role Description
D1 Training is seeking a part-time Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for an on-site position at our Brandon, FL location. The Assistant Coach will play a key role in supporting athlete training and fitness programs across various age groups. Responsibilities include executing strength and conditioning programs, assisting athletes in achieving performance goals, ensuring safety and proper techniques during workouts, and monitoring progress. The coach will also contribute to maintaining a positive and motivating environment during group and individual sessions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Strength & Conditioning and Strength Training techniques
- Knowledge of Sports Science and Athletic Performance improvement strategies
- Understanding of Injury Prevention protocols and best practices
- Passion for fitness and fostering athlete success
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- CPR and First Aid certification
- A Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, or equivalent field (preferred)
- Previous coaching experience or certifications such as NSCA, ACSM, or NASM are a plus
