Job Summary
As an Adult Group Fitness Instructor, you will ignite passion and energy in your fitness classes, guiding participants of all levels through dynamic workouts that inspire and motivate. Your expertise in various fitness disciplines will create an engaging environment where individuals can achieve their health and wellness goals. You’ll be the driving force behind group fitness sessions, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics to design effective programs that resonate with participants. Join us in fostering a vibrant community focused on health, strength, and well-being! We are looking for a male/female instructor to coach 5am morning classes. We will have more opportunities adding classes as we go so hours are a start but not capped at 20.
Responsibilities
- Educate participants on body mechanics and anatomy to enhance their understanding of movement and exercise benefits.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages participation and motivates individuals to push their limits.
- Conduct fitness assessments and provide personalized guidance to help clients reach their personal goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym space while ensuring all equipment is safe for use.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to promote fitness programs and drive membership engagement through effective fitness sales strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends in group fitness instruction to continually enhance class offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a group fitness instructor or personal trainer with a strong background in teaching various fitness formats.
- In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles.
- Certification in group fitness instruction or related fields (e.g., ACE, NASM) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of individuals.
- Experience in sports coaching or dancing is a plus for enhancing class variety.
- Ability to adapt workouts based on participant feedback and performance levels.
- Passion for health and wellness with a commitment to fostering a positive community atmosphere.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
