Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to maintain healthy turf.
- Conduct landscape maintenance such as pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
- Experience with zero turns and walk behinds.
- Assist with construction tasks related to landscape projects while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and repairs to ensure operational readiness.
- Support tree care activities including planting, trimming, removal, and health assessments.
- Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping or grounds keeping is required;
- Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, and construction machinery is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with horticulture practices such as gardening techniques, plant health management, and landscape design principles.
- Knowledge of land maintenance including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aeration.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscape maintenance and construction.
