Job Summary
We're hiring a Showroom Coordinato to be the hands-on owner of our Lakeland showroom and sample program and to also to assist in customer support.
Roughly half of your time is physical and organizational: receiving product samples, making sure each one is correctly packaged and paperwork-complete, keeping our showroom displays and planograms current, and personally delivering samples to our retail customer's corporate headquarters here in Lakeland. The other half is at a computer, learning our customer support side: pulling reports and data from retailer portals, preparing materials for sales presentations, and backing up our customer support team.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming product samples; log, inspect, and confirm each shipment against what was expected
- Verify that samples are correctly packaged, labeled, and accompanied by the required documentation and spec paperwork before they go out
- Deliver samples to our customer's headquarters in Lakeland, presenting yourself professionally on our behalf
- Store and organize samples so anyone on the team can find what they need
- Set up and maintain showroom displays; update planograms and shelf sets as new samples arrive
- Keep the showroom and sample storage area clean, current, and presentation-ready at all times
- Learn to navigate our retail customer's vendor portal to pull item, order, and sales reports
- Compile and format data into clean spreadsheets and presentation-ready materials
- Provide backup coverage for the customer support team on routine requests
- Take on additional analytical and account support work as your skills develop
Experience/Requirements
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, proofreading, and calendar management efficiently
- Customer service and office management experience that highlights strong time management and organizational skills
