We are looking for an Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment for our Assisted Living Community.
- Full-Time- 37.5 hours a week, schedule includes 1 weekend shift.
- $15.50 to $17.21 per hour based on skills and experience.
Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Activities experience with older adults preferred, but not required.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Ability to work well with a team as well as the ability to work independently.
Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Job Summary:
- Assist with coordination, direction and delivery of wellness and recreation programs.
- Provide hands-on involvement in programs for the majority of their scheduled time.
- Assist in the supervision, orientation, and planning of volunteers.
- Assist in the coordination of the calendar events.
- Assist in the evaluation of the residents wellness needs-exploring the opportunities for resident engagement within the six dimension; purposeful, emotions, physical, spiritual, social and intellectual.
- Assist in projecting monthly expenditures.
- Assist in ensuring specialty programs are scheduled.
- Assist with marketing, promoting and communicating materials, helping to ensure professional quality.
- Assist in maintaining community environment (including equipment and supplies).
- Assist in ensuring resident welcome and engagement protocols are in place.
- Assist in keeping records and inventory of supplies.
- May be required to assist driving the community van to transport residents to and from, off or on campus activities.
