OR - Scrub Tech/RN or LPN Scrub Tech, LPN or RN

Under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of the patients who come under his/her care. Included within this assignment is the responsibility for ensuring effective communication between himself/herself, the charge nurse, the patient, other staff, physicians, and other hospital departments.

Accountable to the Perioperative Unit Manager

Tech must work towards Operating Room Technician certification
Technician demonstrates technical competence through certification within 2 years preferred
Demonstrates ability to provide quality patient care
Communicates and works effectively with people
Maintains current CPR certification
