Medical Office Assistant - DWM Medical Center The D W McMillan Medical Center has an opening for a full-time Medical Office Assistant with Family Practice. High School education or equivalent is required.
The job duties include, performing all clerical functions necessary to upload documents into the patients chart in the EMR. Check patients in, schedule appointments, verifies insurance, and collects payments.
The candidate must be willing to work in a fast past environment, able to communicate clearly to physicians, patients, and multiple personnel in person and by phone. This person must function as a team member, have strong interpersonal skills, and able to multi-task. The job requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday on days.
All other duties/skills and qualifications will be discussed at time of interview.
