Centralized Scheduler One (1) Full time Position

M-F-Days

Responsibilities:

Receives and documents physician’s orders and schedules various types of procedures, services based on department/equipment availability and physician/patient preference, verifies insurance and prior authorizations.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of hospital registration process and scheduling procedures.
Medical terminology
Computer/typing skills required
Must have ability to multitask
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to problem solve
Must have outstanding customer service skills
Strong organization abilities and attention to detail

All other duties/skills and qualifications will be discussed at time of interview.
