Prep Shop Lead

Job Description:

D&W is looking for a strong candidate with supervisory skills and the ability to develop processes to lead the cleaning and teardown processes in our remanufacturing facility.

We are looking for a candidate with the ability and experience needed to:

• Supervise and support powertrain component disassembly and cleaning procedures.
• Develop and implement training for staff on equipment and procedures
• Coordinate the flow of products through the department
• Ensure all work leaving the department meets quality standards
• Document standard operating procedures for all equipment and processes
• Maintain an upbeat and safe work environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior knowledge of manufacturing principles
• 5 years prior experience working in a leadership role
• Familiarity with mechanical principles
• Effective communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels of business
• Ability to assign work and direct a team
• A desire to learn and become extremely knowledgeable on cleaning technologies

Pay Range:

$23.00 - $27.00 hour
